Satellite Dishes
No satellite dish shall be installed without first obtaining an approval from the
ACC. Satellite dishes have become increasingly popular in recent years for
television and Internet service. Satellite dishes shall not be installed on the roof
of a dwelling, on a pole, or on any other structure where they are visible from the
street. The satellite dish size can be no larger than 18 inches in diameter, and its
color must be gray or black.
Satellite providers can work with the member to finding a site where the unit can
receive reception and comply with these guidelines. If the home has a fenced
yard, most providers can place the dish on a pole in the back yard below the
fence line so the dish will not be visible from the street and still get great
reception. Should the fence be removed, relocation of the dish might be required.
